Jamboree 2018 // 28th June -1st July 2018 // Dartington UK
Jamboree 2018 brought together 150 visual artists, curators & programmers from around the UK in a relaxed outdoor setting, on the Dartington Estate near Totnes, Devon, UK.
A much smaller pilot version was held in 2015 and hosted by PAC Home at Plymouth Arts Centre. With the ongoing encouragement & support of a-n, LOW PROFILE made the decision to scale up the project and to develop a participant-led model in 2018 that brought together many more artists & curators from across the country to meet each other & share practice.

The 2018 programme was built around different ways of participants sharing their work, ideas & concerns including: walks & talks, 20:20 presentations, communal making workshops, film screenings, a miniatures exhibition & a camp shop selling limited edition works. The programme also hosted a series of seminars led by invited artists & curators, a communal meal by The Real Junk Food Project and some relaxed vibes & killer tunes courtesy of our guest DJ’S.
You can view documentation of each programme strand, watch daily videos, listen to short radio broadcasts & read a series of reviews/blogs/responses via the Jamboree 2018 archive.
